Use the Settings for Logging part of the AVEVA AIM Gateway Export window to specify a location for the export log file and the level of detail written to the log file.

Location

Defines the log file location. By default, the file is stored at C:\Users\Public\Documents\AVEVA\USERDATA\VNET-Logs. Use Browse to specify a different location for the log file.

Logging Type

Select the required radio button to specify the level of detail written to the log file.

Full (Detailed Information)

Detailed information is written to the log file.

Brief (Quick Summary)

Only errors are written to the log file.

The file name of the log file starts with "GatewaysLog". Messages are written to the same file until the file reaches the size of 120 KB. After the file reaches this size, another log file is created and messages are written to that file.
