Virtual Machine (VM) Pool initiation

When the administrator logs into CONNECT to subscribe to AVEVA Production Accounting, the VM pool is automatically initialized. If the administrator subscribes to AVEVA Production Accounting, the system prepares an AVEVA Production Accounting VM pool for the capability/solution. The pool uses the latest version of the AVEVA Production Accounting image.

The default configuration of the VM pool is as follows:

• The VM pool number is 0.

• The VM pool region matches the latest version of the AVEVA Production Accounting image.

• The VM pool timeout causes the VM session to become inactive after 30 minutes.

• The VM pool schedule default is none.

  This field is enabled when the standby VM is greater than 0 and the default schedule is Custom schedule.
