Install AVEVA Insight Analytics Publisher

AVEVA Predictive Analytics Insight Publisher extracts data from on-premise systems and then publishes that data to AVEVA Insight. This continuous extraction and publishing is managed by the edge module installed via AVEVA Edge Management. For more information on AVEVA Edge Management, click on the Help icon after you login to AVEVA Connect.

Perform the following steps to install the AVEVA Predictive Analytics Insight Publisher:

1. Add a device twin.

2. Pair a device twin to an edge device.

3. Configure the module.

4. Deploy the device twin to the edge device.

You need administrator access to create devices and deploy the AVEVA Predictive Analytics Insight Publisher edge module to the on-premise machine.

A service account should be set up in the AVEVA Predictive Analytics database. This service account will be used to run the scheduled task for AVEVA Predictive Analytics Insight Publisher. The account is also used to read data from the AVEVA Predictive Analytics database.
