Communication Paths and Protocols

AVEVA Predictive Analytics Insight Publisher communicates with the AVEVA Predictive Analytics model and analytic results databases. The AVEVA Predictive Analytics model database is accessed using the Microsoft SQL Server protocol.

AVEVA Predictive Analytics Insight Publisher communicates with the cloud-hosted AVEVA Insight system using HTTPS. The results are published using a security token specific to your tenant and can only be viewed by authorized users of your Insight system.

Application Communication Protocols

The communication protocols that connect AVEVA Predictive Analytics Insight Publisher components to other AVEVA components are as follows:

• SQL for connecting to AVEVA Predictive Analytics Model Database 

• HTTPS for connecting to AVEVA Predictive Analytics Web Server

• HTTPS for connecting to AVEVA Insight Historian
