Prepare Predictive Analytics Projects for Data Publishing

For every project to be published to AVEVA Insight, perform the following tasks in the AVEVA Predictive Analytics Client:

• Add Insight Functional Location values to the project’s asset folder, separating folder locations using a slash. This should match the asset path for the model in AVEVA Insight. For example, /Dallas/121 will create an asset Dallas at the top of the Insight solution, and then a second asset 121 will be added under Dallas.

• Add the Insight Model Name to the project’s properties. This name will be used to display the model results in AVEVA Insight. The value does not need to match the name of the Predictive Analytics model.

  Note: The first 50 models ordered by the project ID, that meet the publication criteria are published.

To add functional location values

1. Open the project to be published.

2. Click File and then Manage Asset Groups.

3. In the Project Asset Groups window, select the asset of interest. For example: DALLAS.

   

4. At the bottom of the window, click the Properties link.

5. In the Assign Property Values dialog box, add the path under the Value column. Click OK.

6. Repeat steps 1-5 for each asset within the project.

   

To add the Insight Model Name

7. Open the project to be published.

8. Click File and then Project Properties.

9. In the Project Properties dialog box, select the Properties tab.

10. Enter the Value for the Insight Model Name property.

    

11. Click OK.

12. Save the project.

13. Repeat steps 1-6 for each project that will be published to AVEVA Insight.
