Prerequisites

Before you begin the installation process, you need to prepare your system with:

• Administrator Security Roles and access to AVEVA Connect and AVEVA Insight

  AVEVA Connect is the platform on which AVEVA offers its cloud services. From AVEVA Connect, you can access all of AVEVA’s cloud services that you are subscribed to. AVEVA Connect (https://connect.aveva.com/) is the common cloud platform on which Insight and Edge Management are hosted. AVEVA Connect helps to organize your applications and projects and it facilitates managing security across applications that work together.

• The AVEVA Predictive Analytics system must be running before starting the install.

User Management and Licensing

AVEVA Predictive Analytics Insight Publisher does not require any additional user security or user management; it uses the service accounts configured in AVEVA Connect, AVEVA Predictive Analytics, and AVEVA Insight. AVEVA Predictive Analytics Insight Publisher does not require any additional licensing.
