Asset Efficiency Content and Dashboards

New content types for building custom dashboards are available for Asset Efficiency data. You can now build a dashboard that includes the following:

• Utilization Time Line: A Gantt chart of utilization events

  The Utilization Time Line chart includes action buttons for adding a new event, editing an existing event, splitting an event, and merging two consecutive events.

• OEE Gauge: Key Performance Indicator (KPI) gauges that show OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), Availability, Performance, or Quality for an individual asset or asset hierarchy.

• Production Summary Chart: A Pareto chart of production disposition reasons.

• Utilization Summary Chart: A Pareto chart by count or duration of utilization reasons.

  Note: A 12‑hours option has also been added to the timeline control for these and all other widgets.

Description

Asset interface to Limble CMMS

Using the Asset interface functionality, AVEVA Insight Administrators are able to define an interface point to their Limble CMMS solution.

Once configured, the Asset interface synchronizes assets from Limble CMMS to AVEVA Insight and allows work requests to be triggered using a custom action in an alert. AVEVA Insight users also have the ability to manually create or view work requests for assets synchronized from Limble CMMS using the Actions menu on the Asset page.

New AVEVA Insight experience

In this release, the new AVEVA Insight experience is available to all users. The new AVEVA Insight experience is simpler and more intuitive with an interface that is more consistent across features and other AVEVA web-based products.

Description

AVEVA Insight – Guided Analytics – AVEVA Predictive Analytics algorithm (locality-sensitive hashing [LSH])

AVEVA Insight – Guided Analytics offers a new algorithm. The AVEVA Predictive Analytics algorithm (locality-sensitive hashing [LSH]) is ideal for asset-focused anomaly detection.

This new release includes the following:

• The existing Guided Analytics algorithm, powered by TwinThread, continues to be a great choice for process-focused anomaly detection.

• Both algorithms share the same configuration experience.

• Both algorithms notify end users of the detected anomalies with News, using the same message format, and allowing drill down to a trend of the top contributors to the anomaly.

• Both algorithms compute an anomaly score indicating how irregular the situation is.

Data Tag Interpolation

You can now override the interpolation settings defined with data tags using the Interpolation field in AVEVA Insight. This is available for data tags displayed on the Line Chart only and includes the following three available options:

• Linear

• Step First

• Step Last (StairStep)

Viewer Role

A new user role option is added to AVEVA Insight. The existing User and Administrator roles are enhanced to now include a Viewer role.

AVEVA Insight user roles determine the level of access that users have to AVEVA Insight assets, such as locations, systems, or pieces of equipment.

The new Viewer role provides viewing access to assets, allowing a user to:

• View content and dashboards that have been shared with them

• Search for and monitor assets and data

• See news about their data

• Track comments, alerts, and events

• View equipment and production line utilization, OEE, and KPI analysis data, including creating equipment groups to filter the data

In contrast, the User role also allows a user to create, edit, share, or remove content and transact with AVEVA Insight.
