Access to the AVEVA Process Simulation Repository

Model Libraries and simulations are stored in a local repository managed by AVEVA Process Simulation. On a development server, you can access the contents of the repository by using the AVEVA Process Simulation user interface (UI) (client), which is also how you can import and export these assets out of the system for archiving and sharing.

Installation and deployment of a production server consists of setting up the AVEVA Process Simulation and AVEVA Real-Time System (RTS) for runtime.

In a production system, you should configure RTS to run as a system service. See Run AVEVA Real-Time System as a service for more information.

On a production server, because RTS is running under a service account, you cannot use the AVEVA Process Simulation UI (client).
