Run AVEVA Real-Time System as a service

You can configure AVEVA Real-Time System (RTS) to run as a service. When you do this, RTS runs even when a user isn't logged in to the computer. You can also configure the service to start automatically upon system restart by setting the service Start-up type to Automatic in the Windows Services app. If any sequences are configured to process timestamps in a backfill run or to run on a schedule, these tasks continue where they left off after the computer restarts.
