Configure AVEVA Real-Time System to run as a service

The user account under which the AVEVA Real-Time System (RTS) service runs must have AVEVA Process Simulation installed so that AVEVA Process Simulation can be used from sequence scripts.

Use the All-Users edition of AVEVA Process Simulation.

Select Options and clear the SimCentral Roaming Profile checkbox during the installation. This is necessary so that the service account's profile remains on the local server.

All AVEVA Process Simulation assets, such as Model Libraries and simulations, run under the context of the service account.
