Access to AVEVA Process Simulation log files for non-service account users

Unless you installed AVEVA Process Simulation by using roaming profiles, you can find the AVEVA Process Simulation Repository (including log files) in the %LocalAppData%\SimSci\SimCentral folder, which is specific to each user. Only administrators and the corresponding user can access this folder. When RTS is running as a service, it runs under a Log on as user (service account). When you are signed in to the computer as the service account user, you should have no problem accessing the AVEVA Process Simulation log files. However, if you are not signed in to the computer as the service account user and you want to access the log files, the service account user or an administrator must explicitly grant you access to the Logs folder.
