Manage points on the curve chart

You can move existing points already plotted on the curve chart, add new points directly to the curve chart, and remove points directly from the curve chart if you have already defined dependent and independent variables in the Curve Editor.
Manage a curve point already plotted on the curve chart

Open the Curve Editor for the Curve.

Select an existing point and drag it to the location that you desire on the curve chart.

Browse to the Curves section, and notice that the curve variable data was automatically updated based on the new location of the point.

Add a curve point directly from the curve chart

Open the Curve Editor for the Curve Type.

Expand the Curves section.

Locate where you want to add a new curve point, press Ctrl, and then select the curve chart.

In the data table, notice that AVEVA Process Simulation automatically adds the curve variable data for the new point.
Remove a curve point directly from the curve chart

Open the Curve Editor for the Curve Type.

Expand the Curves section.

On the curve chart, locate the curve point that you want to remove, press Ctrl, and then select it.

In the data table, notice that AVEVA Process Simulation removed the curve variable data for that point.
