The Soave-Redlich-Kwong Huron-Vidal (SRKH) method is an extension of the Soave-Redlich-Kwong (SRK) equation of state and uses a modified mixing rule for parameter a from the standard SRK formulation. This method provides a more complicated way to represent the phase behavior of strongly non-ideal systems. It develops the relationship between the mixing rule and the excess Gibbs free energy. We can then use a Non-Random Two-Liquid (NRTL)-like method to calculate the infinite-pressure Gibbs free energy. Huron and Vidal proposed this approach in 19791. Typically, you use this method for highly non-ideal mixtures.
