AVEVA Unified Engineering

AVEVA Unified Engineering is an integration solution that allows AVEVA Process Simulation and AVEVA Engineering to communicate and share data. After you export your AVEVA Process Simulation data to AVEVA Engineering, you can interface with many other AVEVA products, including AVEVA Everything 3D, which builds and maintains 3D visualizations of your process plants to help you plan and design all the process units that you will need in your plant. This solution helps you reduce the time, cost, and effort in the front-end engineering and design of your plants.

The following figure shows an overview of the data connections between AVEVA Process Simulation, AVEVA Engineering, and the other software that supports this connection (AVEVA Integration Service and AVEVA Gateway for Process Simulation).

The AVEVA Engineering tab in the AVEVA Process Simulation user interface contains all of the controls to connect to and share data with AVEVA Engineering.

The sections in this chapter outline only how to set up the AVEVA Engineering data communication in AVEVA Process Simulation. Instead, you can find this documentation with the AVEVA Gateway for Process Simulation installation files. You can find the latest AVEVA Gateway for Process Simulation version on the AVEVA Knowledge & Support Center (https://softwaresupport.aveva.com/), on the Products page.

The AVEVA Process Simulation team does not control the documentation for AVEVA Unified Engineering, AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA Integration Service, or AVEVA Gateway for Process Simulation.
