You can use the Search box to find words in the Model Help documentation. Some Model Types, such as the Column model from the Process Library, include a large amount of documentation in their Model Help. The Search box helps you quickly locate the information that you are interested in when you are reviewing large Model Help documentation.

Search for words in the Model Help

  1. In the Model Help dialog, do one of the following:

    • On the upper-right corner, select the Search box.

    • Press Ctrl+F while the Model Help dialog is active.

The cursor moves into the Search box.

"Place your cursor into the Search box."

  2. Enter a word or text fragment, and then press Enter.

Your entry does not have to be case sensitive.

AVEVA Process Simulation highlights the first instance of your entry in yellow.

Next Next Icon and Previous Previous Icon are available if there is an instance of your entry.

"Use Next or Previous to search for your entry in the documentation."

  3. (Optional) Select Next Next Icon or press Enter to highlight the next instance of your entry in the documentation.

  4. (Optional) Select Previous Previous Icon to highlight the previous instance of your entry in the documentation.

  5. (Optional) Search for a new word or text fragment.

AVEVA Process Simulation highlights the first instance of your entry from the new search, starting at the cursor's current location in the documentation.
