Expand and modify array variables in the Properties Inspector

Open the Properties Inspector.

Expand the Variables section.

Select the chevron (>) at the beginning of the row for the array variable.

The array variable expands and displays its nested elements.

In the following example, the array variable is M.

You can modify only the following data for variables in the Properties Inspector:

• Value (Value)

• Unit of measure (Units)

• Specification status (S)

• Favorited status ()

  Only Model Writers can change the favorited status of variables in the Properties Inspector. See Define favorite variables and parameters for more information.

  You must modify the associated Model Type in the Model Library to change any other data for the variables.

(Optional) Select the value of an element in the array variable to enter a new value for that element.

(Optional) Select the unit of measure for an element in the array variable to select a new unit of measure for all elements in the array variable.
