Limitations of the Curl-Pitzer method

This equation of state is limited to nonpolar mixtures. You can use it for:

• Pr up to 10.0

• Tr for liquids in the range of 0.35 to 4.0

• Tr for vapors in the range of 0.6 to 4.0

For heavy ends, the saturated vapor is sometimes at a Tr less than 0.6. In such cases, the CP correlation extrapolates reasonably well and produces satisfactory results.
