About Subflowsheets
A subflowsheet is a collection of connected, logically related components within your simulation. Subflowsheets divide a large simulation into smaller, more manageable pieces.
Currently, subflowsheets represent only a visual separation. In the Simulation Manager, the model instances, Tables, Profiles, and Trends in a subflowsheet appear at the same level as all the other model instances and other flowsheet objects. The solver solves all model instances in the simulation at once regardless of their flowsheet locations. That is, you cannot solve subflowsheets individually.

Concepts
-
Subflowsheets visually separate your simulation into smaller, more manageable pieces
-
Model references allow you to visually represent model instances from one flowsheet on another flowsheet within the same simulation
-
All model instances solve at once regardless of their flowsheet locations
-
You can add any type of flowsheet object to a subflowsheet, including nested subflowsheets
Actions
-
Create a subflowsheet
-
Rename a subflowsheet
-
Open a subflowsheet
-
Close a subflowsheet
-
Add model references to a subflowsheet
-
Move flowsheet objects between subflowsheets
-
Delete a subflowsheet
