Configure a Model Type as a replaceable submodel

If you plan to use a Model Type as a replaceable submodel within another Model Type, you must configure that Model Type so that it appears in the list of available submodels.

Configure a Model Type as a replaceable submodel

Open the Model Editor for the Model Type.

Expand the General section if it is not already visible.

Select the Use as a Replaceable Model checkbox.
The Model Type now appears in the list of replaceable submodels.
