Associate a new icon with a Fluid Type

You can associate an icon with a Model Type, Fluid Type, or Port Type. This icon is used in the Model Library. For Model Types, this icon is also used on the Canvas. The icon that you want to associate with the Model Type, Fluid Type, or Port Type must be in the form of an Extensible Application Markup (XAML) file. Many software applications on the market let you create XAML icon files or convert traditional icons to XAML.

Associate an icon

1. From the editor you are in, expand the Icon section.

   

2. Select Select Icon.

3. Select an XAML file.

The icon appears in the Icon section.
