Limitations of the GERG-2008 equation of state

The GERG-2008 equation of state (EOS) provides the most accurate results in the following validity ranges[1]:

• Temperatures from 90 to 450 K

• Pressures up to 35 MPa

However, this EOS provides good results in the following extended validity ranges[1]:

• Temperatures from 60 to 700 K

• Pressures up to 70 MPa

We recommend that you use the GERG-2008 EOS only when you expect the system temperatures and pressures to fall within these respective ranges.
