Example: Create an Excel report template

This is a very simple example in which we use the following Excel functions to create a report template:

• SCModelList: We use this AVEVA Process Simulation Excel function to build a list of models that are available in the simulation.

• SCValue: We use this AVEVA Process Simulation Excel function to load the specific data that we are interested in.

This example uses the F1 - Flare Relief and F3 - Flare Relief with Mixed Fluids example simulations to demonstrate how you can use an Excel report template to quickly view data for different simulations. We use the default simulation in all AVEVA Process Simulation Excel functions so that we can quickly switch between simulations. Before you attempt this example, you should import the F1 - Flare Relief and F3 - Flare Relief with Mixed Fluids example simulations into AVEVA Process Simulation.
