We have worked hard to make some great additions in AVEVA Process Simulation 2025.1. Major features for this release include the following:
-
AVEVA Unified Engineering support in a hybrid cloud environment
Sign into a CONNECT account in AVEVA Process Simulation to work with available AVEVA Unified Engineering resources.
-
Henry’s Law pressure correction
Use a pressure correction in the Henry’s coefficient calculations with all liquid activity coefficient (LACT) methods.
-
Henry’s Law rigorous mixing option
Use a rigorous mixing rule to calculate the Henry’s coefficients in mixed solvent with the Non-Random Two-Liquid (NRTL) method.
-
Henry’s Law activity coefficient option
Include the activity coefficient in the phase equilibrium calculations for selected Henry’s solutes with the NRTL method.
-
New training exercise
-
PRO-13C: Creating Custom Amine Fluids for Carbon Capture and Gas Treating – Learn how to use the Electrolyte NRTL (eNRTL) method to build a custom aqueous amine fluid, such as monoethanolamine (MEA), that accurately represents phase behavior, chemical reactions, acid gas solubility, and heat of absorption.
The training exercises are available upon request.
