Add a multi-port to a Model Type

You can define a port as a multi-port, and connect multiple streams to the same input or output port; for example, when working with a mixer or drum model.

Define a port as a multi-port

1. Create a model or edit an existing one.

2. Expand the Ports section.

3. Edit an existing port, or add a new one.

4. Select the Connections dropdown, and select Multiple.

5. Give the port a Description.

   

   When you connect a model instance to the port, the port contains the variables from the connected model.
