About flowsheet parameters and flowsheet variables
Flowsheet parameters and flowsheet variables are parameters and variables that you add to your simulation to account for additional specifications or requirements that you want to impose on the simulation.
Typically, you use flowsheet parameters and flowsheet variables in the formulas for flowsheet equations.
Concepts
-
Flowsheet variables have the same specification status in all simulation modes.
-
Flowsheet parameters can be only real or integer parameters.
-
The parameter type or variable type that you select for a flowsheet parameter or flowsheet variable determines the units of measure that you can use for the flowsheet parameter or flowsheet variable, respectively.
Actions
-
Create a flowsheet parameter by using the Tools Library or the Simulation Manager.
-
Create a flowsheet variable by using the Tools Library or the Simulation Manager.
-
Use a flowsheet parameter or flowsheet variable in a flowsheet equation.
-
Change the parameter type or variable type for a flowsheet parameter or flowsheet variable.
-
Delete a flowsheet parameter or flowsheet variable by using the Simulation Manager.
