This section takes you through the steps of:
-
Running a very simple sequence file that's included with your AVEVA Real-Time System installation.
-
Creating a new sequence, modifying it, and then running it.
There are three ways that you can run a sequence:
-
Offline, interactive mode — For initial testing. This mode runs in the foreground while you wait. It is for single runs of a sequence.
-
Offline, backfill mode — Runs unattended in the background. This mode supports multiple runs of a sequence of a time range for back-filling of history.
-
Online, real-time mode — For final deployment. This mode runs unattended in the background. It supports the online, real-time scheduling of sequences.
