Disable components in a compositional Fluid Type

If you want to remove a component from a compositional Fluid Type without losing any custom data for that component (such as custom enthalpy route data), you can disable the component in the Fluid Type. Disabled components do not participate in any thermodynamic calculations and do not appear in any model instances that use the Fluid Type.

Disable a component in the Fluid Type

1. Open the Fluid Editor for the Fluid Type.

2. In the Component List section, clear the checkbox next to the name of the component.

Disable all components in the Fluid Type

3. Open the Fluid Editor for the Fluid Type.

4. In the Component List section, clear the checkbox in the header row, next to the Name column.
