Change the unit of measure for a Variable Reference

Changing the unit of measure (UOM) for a Variable Reference does not affect the UOMs used elsewhere in the simulation. This allows you to use multiple Variable References that refer to the same parameter or variables to display the same parameter or variable in different UOMs on the Canvas.

Change the unit of measure for a Variable Reference

1. On the Canvas, double-click the UOM for the Variable Reference.

   The list of available UOMs appears.

2. In the list of UOMs, select the UOM that you want to use for the Variable Reference.

   Tip: You can select Default in the list of UOMs to use the same UOM that the corresponding parameter or variable uses in the rest of the simulation. If you change the UOM for the corresponding parameter or variable in a model instance or in the Simulation Manager, then the Variable Reference updates to match the new UOM selection.
