Sign into a CONNECT account

CONNECT is the platform on which AVEVA offers its cloud services. When you are signed into a CONNECT account from AVEVA Process Simulation, you can establish a connection to AVEVA Engineering. If you do not have a CONNECT account, contact your AVEVA Process Simulation sales representative for assistance.

Note: In AVEVA Process Simulation, you can connect to AVEVA Engineering with a CONNECT service token instead of signing into a CONNECT account. See Configure the AVEVA Process Simulation to AVEVA Engineering connection for more information.

Sign into a CONNECT account in AVEVA Process Simulation

1. In AVEVA Process Simulation, in the top-right corner of the main user interface, select User profile .

   The User profile panel appears and displays a Sign In button, the AVEVA copyright information, and a link to AVEVA's legal information website.

   

2. Select Sign In.

   A CONNECT Sign in popup appears.

3. In the CONNECT Sign in popup, enter your CONNECT credentials, and then select the CONNECT account you want to sign into.

   The software signs you into the CONNECT account. The User profile panel now displays your CONNECT credentials and CONNECT account name. Sign in changes to Sign Out.

4. (Optional) Select Sign Out to sign out of the CONNECT account.

   You must first sign out of your current CONNECT account if you want to sign into another CONNECT account.

   The software signs you out of the CONNECT account. The User profile panel no longer displays your CONNECT credentials and CONNECT account name. Sign Out changes to Sign In.
