Use System Properties to make user-level environment variables available to all user accounts
-
Run AVEVA Process Simulation under your own user account, and then configure the license to verify that everything is working correctly.
The user-level environment variables are set.
-
In the search box on your Windows task bar, enter environ, and then select Edit the system environment variables.
The System Properties dialog appears.

-
On the Advanced tab, select Environment Variables.
The Environment Variables dialog appears.

-
In the User variables for section, double-click the variable name (see Licensing for AVEVA Process Simulation for the variable names).
An Edit User Variable dialog appears.

-
Copy the variable name, and then close the Edit User Variable dialog.
-
In the System variables section, select New.
A New System Variable dialog appears.

-
In the Variable name box, paste the variable name that you previously copied.
-
Select OK.
-
In the User variables for section, double-click the variable name that you previously opened.
The Edit User Variable dialog appears.
-
Copy the variable value, and then close the Edit User Variable dialog.
-
In the System variables section, double-click the previously-made variable name, and then paste the value into the Variable value box.
-
Select OK.
The user-level environment variable is now available to all user accounts.
-
Repeat steps 4 to 12 for the remaining user-level environment variables.
