Connect to a model instance with multiple ports

As a Model Writer, you can write models with multi-port variable and parameter connections, so as a Simulation Builder, you do not have to specify the number of ports the model has.
This topic will illustrate how to connect models with multi-port variable and parameter connections. Before reviewing the following example, see the Add a multi-port to a Model Type, Connect parameters (configure a Fluid State submodel), and Connect variables topics.
Connect to a model instance with multiple ports

Drag two Sources from the Model Library onto the Canvas.

Drag a Mixer onto the Canvas that is configured with an "in" multi-port. For information on multi-ports, see Add a multi-port to a Model Type.

Connect the first and second Source models to the Mixer.

Drag a Sink model onto the canvas, and connect it to the Mixer.

Note that the Fluid Type from SRC1 is propagated to SNK1:
