Configure warnings for adding models to a simulation

As a best practice, we recommend that Simulation Builders add models to a simulation only when the simulation is in Process Mode. This ensures that you always have a solved and converged base simulation in Process mode that you can fall back on if you encounter any convergence or modeling issues in Fluid Flow or Dynamics mode.

To aid Simulation Builders, you can configure your Model Library so that a warning appears when you add models to the simulation while the simulation is in the specified simulation modes.

Configure the warnings for a Model Library

  1. On the Model Library pane, right-click the tab for a Model Library, and then select Properties.

    The <ModelLibrary> Properties dialog appears.

  2. (Optional) Select the Process checkbox to show a warning when you add models from this Model Library to the simulation while the simulation is in Process mode.

  3. (Optional) Select the Fluid Flow checkbox to show a warning when you add models from this Model Library to the simulation while the simulation is in Fluid Flow mode.

  4. (Optional) Select the Dynamics checkbox to show a warning when you add models from this Model Library to the simulation while the simulation is in Dynamics mode.
