We provide a number of Microsoft Excel templates (.xltx files) that you can use to create standard reports for your simulations. These standard reports help you quickly build detailed Excel reports for common process engineering applications. Each standard report includes an FAQs worksheet that provides detailed instructions on how you can configure the report to link to your desired simulation data.
You can find the standard report templates in the %userprofile%\My Simulations\Examples\Tools and Reports folder. You can double-click on any of these .xltx files to create a standard report based on that template. The following table lists the available standard report templates.
|
Template |
Description |
|---|---|
|
CW Equipment Report.xltx |
This report contains heat and material lists and equipment summaries for cooling water simulations. You should use this report only with simulations that are based on the Cooling Water template or primarily use the CWLib Library. |
|
Flare Relief Report.xltx |
This report contains equipment-wise relief case summaries. You should use this report only with simulations that are based on the Flare template or primarily use the Flare Library. The Case Comparison worksheet allows you to review and compare all models of any equipment type. Use the Case Summary worksheet to study and understand a specific relief case. |
|
Process Column Report.xltx |
This report contains detailed information for a Column in your simulation. You should use this report only with simulations that contain at least one model instance of the Column from the Process Library. The Instructions worksheet provides the steps that you should follow to configure your Column report. The Report Configuration worksheet provides an overview of the report configuration as well as the Column's configuration in the simulation. The Summary worksheet provides stage-wise heat and material information throughout the Column. The Stage Hydraulics worksheet provides stage-wise transport property data for each phase throughout the Column. |
|
Process Stream Report.xltx |
This report contains a standard heat and material balance (HMB) stream report. You can also include detailed report data for compositional arrays based on the fluid component list. You should use this report only with simulations that are based on the Process template or primarily use the Process Library. |
|
Regression Report.xltx |
This report contains detailed information for a data regression simulation. You should use this report only with simulations that include models from the Regression Library. The Regression Library is an example Model Library distributed with the AVEVA Process Simulation installation. You must first import the Regression Library to use it in your simulations. The Instructions worksheet provides the steps that you should follow to configure your regression report. The Pure Regression Configuration worksheet provides the controls to configure a report for the regression of a temperature-dependent property for a pure component. The Pure Regression Report worksheet provides the following regression results for each dataset specified on the Pure Regression Configuration worksheet:
