Remotely access the RTS Console

  • Last UpdatedSep 11, 2025

You can remotely access the AVEVA Real-Time System (RTS) Console user interface (UI) from a different computer by configuring the RtsWebUI service for external access. After you configure the service, you can access the RTS Console UI from a web browser from a remote computer on the same corporate network (intranet).

The basic workflow is as follows:

  1. Configure the appsettings.json file to specify the external URL.

  2. Obtain a sever certificate so that you can access the AVEVA Real-Time System web server through hypertext transfer protocol secure (HTTPS).

  3. Add the server certificate binding for the URL on the server computer.

RTS Console uses Windows Authentication whether you use the RTS Console UI remotely or on the same computer. When you access the RTS Console UI remotely, you may need to enter your domain credentials.
