NRTL — Non-random two-liquid method

Renon and Prausnitz[1] developed the non-random two-liquid (NRTL) equation to make use of the local composition concept, while avoiding the inability of the Wilson equation to predict liquid-liquid phase separation. The resulting equation has been quite successful in correlating a wide variety of systems.
