Log files

AVEVA Real-Time System (RTS) has extensive logging. Log files are stored in the Logs folder of the AVEVA Process Simulation installation (for example, %localappdata%\SimSci\SimCentral\Logs).
The following table lists the available log files.

A separate log file for each sequence that contains information that the sequence script itself logs. |

ScriptHost\*.txt |
Log messages related to the ScriptHost running sequence scripts and connecting to AVEVA Process Simulation. |

RtsServer_logFile\*.txt |
Log messages related to the RTS Server, which typically contains diagnostics information related to routing and managing processes. |

RtsTool\*.txt |
Log messages related to the rts.exe tool itself or diagnostics information if there were problems accessing RTS Server. |

Log messages related to the Scripting Interface and AVEVA Process Simulation client. |

Created automatically when you install RTS as a service. |
