When you add a Model Type to a simulation, the software dynamically creates the associated array variables and array equations on the AVEVA Process Simulation server, and the Simulation Manager refreshes to display the new equations and variables.
Expand an array equation
-
In the Simulation Manager, browse to the array equation.
-
Select the chevron (>) beside the array equation.
The array equation expands and displays its nested elements.
In the following example, the array equation is Z7.

A badge appears next to each element of the array equation to indicate whether the element equation requires additional data or has solved without errors. Hover over the badge to display a tooltip that describes the current status.
You can edit only flowsheet equations. Model equations are read-only. You must modify the associated Model Type in the Model Library to change model equations.
Expand an array variable and modify the array elements
-
In the Simulation Manager, select the chevron (>) beside the model that contains the array variable.
-
Select the chevron (>) beside the array variable.
The array variable expands and displays its nested array elements.
In the following example, the array variable is M.

-
(Optional) Select the value of an element in the array variable to enter a new value for that element.
-
(Optional) Select the unit of measure for an element in the array variable to select a new unit of measure for all elements in the array variable.
