Create and configure a Group

You must use the Model Writer role or a custom role with model writing permissions to create Groups.

Create and configure a Group

1. Open the Model Editor for the model that you want to create a Group for.

2. Expand the Groups area.

3. Select Add Group . A new Group appears in the list.

4. Select the Name column, enter the name of the Group, and then press Enter.

5. Select the Expand checkbox for the Group if you want to expand that Group by default in the Mini Inspector.

   

6. If there is more than one Group in the Groups area, select your new Group and then use the following buttons to move your Group up or down in the list:

   • Move First

   • Move Up

   • Move Down

   • Move Last
