Configure the port number for RTS Console

The AVEVA Real-Time System (RTS) server allows only one connection to an RTS Console server on each unique port. By default, the RTS Console server automatically allocates an available port when it starts. However, you can configure it to use a specific port instead, such as when RTS runs as a service in a production system.

Configure the port number for RTS Console

1. Open the appsettings.json file from the bin\WebUI folder of the RTS installation in any text editor.

2. In the ServerSetting section, change the WebServerPort parameter to the desired port number, and then save the file.
