When a Windows system is hardened, you cannot run any installed application by default unless you add it to an allowlist. Typically, your network administrator or other information technology (IT) professional creates an allowlist of approved application files and folders that can run on the operating system (OS). For AVEVA Process Simulation and AVEVA Real-Time System (RTS), the install locations of the software must be included in the allowlist.

The following table lists the default install locations for AVEVA Process Simulation and RTS. If you used a custom install location when you installed AVEVA Process Simulation or RTS, you should use your custom install location instead. The table also lists the default permissions of each folder, which the installed software should have to successfully run.
