Asset Strategy Optimization can be used with or without authorization. When not activated, Asset Strategy Optimization will start without prompting the user for a user name and password. When Authorization, the user will see a login screen, and will need to log on first before getting access to Asset Strategy Optimization. Users can only log in after being Users in Asset Strategy Optimization, with appropriate user rights and being made part of a Groups and Authorization. Apart from general user rights, Asset Strategy Optimization offers the possibility to assign rights to users to access specific assets. Asset level authorization - setting permissions needs to be activated separately.

Audit Trail
The Audit Trail function can be used to track and trace changes that are made in Asset Strategy Optimization, together with change time stamps. If authorization is activated, Asset Strategy Optimization will track the actual user who made the change. If authorization is off, then all changes will be registered as if made by the Administrator user.
Here, the audit-trail function can be Authorization or deactivated.
