When creating a CLM (Clustered Maintenance), users can create a cluster by selecting existing maintenance actions from the preventive maintenance actions within the same subtree.

To start adding maintenance actions to a CLM

  1. Select the CLM object in the tree.

  2. Make sure the Properties pane is shown (by pressing Enter or double clicking the CLM).

  3. Click the Property called CLM, to display a pop-up list of available maintenance objects.

  4. Using the tick boxes, select all maintenance actions that should be part of the CLM; deselect if you want to remove a selected action from the list.

  5. Click to the left or above the pop-up list to close it.

The selected maintenance actions will appear as small elements inside the CLM property field.

Note: the CLM property field will list up to five elements. If your selected more than five elements, a dropdown element will be shown called More, while showing the number of maintenance actions still to be found in the CLM. Click it to list them all. Click Less to hide them again.

To manage maintenance actions in a CLM

  1. Select the CLM object in the tree.

  2. In the Properties pane (make sure it is visible) locate the CLM property.

  3. To remove existing maintenance actions in a CLM, click the x in the listed maintenance action of the CLM property.

To add more maintenance actions to the CLM

    1. Click inside the CLM property to show the list of eligible maintenance actions.

    2. Check more checkboxes to add more maintenance actions (if any).

    3. Click to the left or above the list to close it.

The newly selected maintenance actions will populate the CLM property area.

Note: It is not possible to add a Use Based Maintenance High (UBM high) object to a CLM.
