Property panel of Asset tree

You may open and close the property panel by either pressing the Enter key or by double clicking the object in the tree. The panel will show up on the right hand side. To close the property panel, you can select the x icon available on the upper-right side of the panel.

The ability to update data in the property panel is governed by the user authorization settings in the desktop version. Consult your system administrator for more information.

When you create a new object in the tree, the property panel will automatically open (if not already so), while the cursor will move to the first field, so you can immediately start typing a name or a description.

Each object in the tree structure has several properties divided over sections. You can check the object type of the selected object on the first line of the property panel. You may collapse or expand a section by selecting the arrow next to the section name. A section may also contain a button that can be pressed using the mouse.

You may resize the property panel width by grabbing the vertical separation line with your mouse and moving it left of right.
