This window generates an overview of all non critical failure causes with preventive maintenance and all critical failure causes without preventive maintenance actions. It is an easy tool to remove excess preventive maintenance and to link all missing maintenance with failure causes. You can generate overviews on every level of your FMECA system. By selecting a certain level in your FMECA model and clicking on 'Maintenance Concepts' -> 'Optimize Maintenance Concept' a new window that contains 3 tab pages opens.

  1. Non critical failure causes with preventive maintenance

  2. Critical failure causes without preventive maintenance

  3. All failure causes

Each tab will be discussed below.

1. Non critical failure causes with preventive maintenance

The window below shows an overview of all preventive maintenance of non critical components of the selected system level in the FMECA model. In this tab page you can select the desired maintenance (or select all by clicking the 'Select all'-button) and remove them by clicking the 'Remove Prev'-button.

2. Critical failure causes without preventive maintenance

The windows below gives an overview of all preventive maintenance of critical components that are present below the selected system level in the FMECA model. These components have been defined as 'critical' in your system, but are not taken care of by preventive maintenance. By double clicking a critical component you will navigate to the FMECA Systems screen where you may add preventive maintenance to the failure causes.
