Menus and buttons in Asset Strategy Optimization

Asset Strategy Optimization is a Windows application. During the development, Windows standards were adhered to as much as possible, resulting in a look-and-feel similar to other Windows applications. As such, the average user should feel comfortable in exploring the many features Asset Strategy Optimization has to offer.
Menu or Buttons bar
Above the basic Asset Strategy Optimization windows there is a menu and button bar. The user may choose among the many ways to get to the desired results. Whether or not specific functionality is available to users is shown by coloring: Grayed out buttons of menu options are not available, colored ones are.
The items in the menu bar are placed in a logical order, according to the focus areas present in the maintenance engineering process.

Apart from buttons and menus, the user may use the right mouse button to reach context sensitive functions in a popup menu.

Tip: A tree may be expanded to the desired level of detail quickly by using the option 'Expand to'. Similarly, (part of a) tree can be collapsed quickly using the option Collapse All
