In this field, you can view two values: Environmental impact categories and Total CO2e.
Environmental Impact: Based on the categories defined in the System options, the impact categories appear. The category name appears along with the unit of measurement, and the emission factor defined in System options.
For example: Energy kWh (2)
Where ‘Energy’ is the impact category, ‘kWh’ is the unit of measurement, and '(2)' is the emission factor.
Total CO2e: This field will automatically calculate the total value by multiplying the emission factor with the category value and adding the results of all the categories. This field is a read-only field.
For example, consider a scenario where we have three Environmental Impact categories: Energy, Temp, and GHC Emission.
|
Energy kWh (2) |
4 |
|
Temp F (2) |
106.5 |
|
GHC Emission ppm (6) |
1 |
|
Total CO2e |
227 |
Then, the Total CO2e is calculated as:
-
Energy: 2 X 4 = 8
-
Temp: 2 X 106.5 = 213
-
GHC Emission: 6 X 1 = 6
Total CO2e = 227 (8+213+6)
