Default values for lookup lists

In the Tab labelled “Default Values for lookup lists”, default values can be set that will be used when new Asset Strategy Optimization tree objects are created. Values that can be configured are generally lookup types (e.g. distribution, or unit of time). Defaults can be configured for several entity types (e.g. part, failure cause). These settings will be used in multiple working modes (Library, FMECA, Simulation). Defaults may not be enforced in all screens where new objects can be created. On creation of new tree objects, you will see that default values are preselected when the property screen for a new object is first presented on screen.

The following types of default values are available:

• Systems/Parts

• Failure causes

• Maintenance

To change a value, do the following:

1. Choose one of the sections, by clicking on them

2. Choose a default value from the list

3. Conform the change by clicking Apply

4. Repeat for other default values.
