In this tab, you can provide a list of categories for which you want to monitor the environmental impact.
By default, the Environmental impact option is disabled in Asset Strategy Optimization.
You can perform the following steps to enable the Environmental impact option:
-
Go to Extra > Options > System options.
The System options window appears, displaying various tabs.
-
Select the GUI settings tab.
-
Select the checkbox Environmental impact and click Save.
A new tab Environmental impact appears on the System options window.

To add the impact categories, perform the following steps:
-
Select the Environment impact tab.
-
Click New to add new categories.
-
Enter the following parameters in the Impact category dialog box, and then select Apply:
-
Impact category: Enter the category name for which you want to monitor the Environment Impact.
-
Unit: Select the relevant unit of measurement for that category. This list is automatically populated based on the units defined in the Custom lookups.
-
Emission factor: Enter the emission factor that corresponds to the impact category.
The category name appears in the Environmental impact categories section. Repeat the steps to add more impact categories to the list for monitoring. You can, however, add only up to ten impact categories to the list.
