Custom lookups

In some functions, e.g. in the optional Stock Management module, a list of SI-units can be used. In general, this is called a custom lookup list. This list can be maintained in the Custom lookups System defaults screen.

Settings

To add a custom lookup value to the Custom lookups screen, perform these steps:

1. Navigate to Extra > Options > System defaults

2. Open the tab Custom lookups

3. Press the New button to open a dialog screen

4. Enter a Value (e.g. kg) and a Name (e.g. Kilogram)

5. Save the settings by pressing the Apply or OK buttons

   The new lookup will automatically appear where ever the custom lookup list is used, example: in the screen Adding a Spare Part.

   Tip: Should the new lookup value not appear immediately, then restart Asset Strategy Optimization.
