Restore the database

The included, still empty, database must be restored to SQL Server. For a new installation, you can find an empty database in the installed location at C:\Program Files (x86)\Asset Strategy Optimization\Database. However, if you have an existing database and you are upgrading to the current version of Asset Strategy Optimization, then perform the steps provided in the topic Update the database for Asset Strategy Optimization.

• Restore the database to your SQL Server.

• Please note that the database User or User Group needs to have db_owner rights on the database to be able to use Asset Strategy Optimization correctly.

  The following example shows the administrator user with access to the Asset Strategy Optimization database.
